Working most of his career based out of New York, Steve Boccone is constantly exposed to the world’s most challenging marketing campaigns, and often finds himself in the company of some of the industry’s most entrepreneurial and creative minds.
These days, as Chief Executive Officer at digital marketing agency GBX Digital, he draws from New York City’s wellspring of business ideas, stimulation and inspiration, his solid network of business and marketing professionals, and over two plus decades of corporate work in the United States and abroad.
Since obtaining a degree in accounting and economics from the University of Maryland at College Park, Steve has worn several hats, and excelled each time. He has served as a Global Head of Operations for SEOP.com (CA digital marketing agency), Chief Financial and Operations Officer for Standard Chartered Securities (UK Investment Bank) and has independently consulted many entities, advising on their financial, administrative and marketing needs.
All of these experiences instilled in him a passion for growing businesses, as well as a well-rounded holistic perspective in approaching a business problem. When he sits down with clients to develop marketing plans, he is able to share insights from the standpoint of finance and accounting, business development, human resource management, customer relations, and sales and marketing.
